Our Beliefs

God exists eternally in three personalities – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, yet One. He has revealed Himself to be Creator of all things, perfect in love, and righteous in all ways.

John 17:11; Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1 & 2; 1 John 4:16; Psalm 119:137

God the Father is the first person mentioned in the Trinity, Father and Lord of all creation, source of all divine acts.

Matthew 23:9; 1 Peter 1:3; Titus 1:4; Matthew 24:36

Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son. He became fully human without ceasing to remain fully God when He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified as a sacrifice for our sins, and arose bodily from death so that we might resurrect and be redeemed unto eternal life with God. He ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where He remains our Intercessor and Advocate.

Matthew 3:17; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31-35; Hebrews 9:14-15, 10:14; Matthew 1:9; 1 John 2:1

The Holy Spirit, the third personality of God, convicts mankind of sin and judgment. He encourages us to repent of our sins and confess Jesus as our Lord. The Holy Spirit lives assuredly within us, guides us, teaches us, and enables us to live Godly lives.

Luke 1:35; 2 Corinthians 3:17-18; John 16:8, 13-15; 1 John 3:24; 1 Corinthians 2:10-16; John 14:26

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original test, infallible, and God-breathed.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

Men and Women were created in God’s image, were tempted by Satan and chose to rebel against God. Mankind is utterly and eternally doomed without salvation through Jesus Christ.

 Genesis 1:26-27, 3:1-6; Romans 3:22-26; Acts 4:12

Life is sacred, born and unborn alike, and begins at conception. Every life is valuable and deserves protection. We believe in supporting and cherishing life at every stage. We care for both mothers and their babies, and want to help them choose life. Life is a gift, and we want to help people make choices that honor it.

Psalm 139; Jeremiah 1:5

Marriage should be between a man and a woman, as ordained by God in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5, Ephesians 5:31

Salvation is a gift from God, received by personal faith in Christ Jesus, repentance of sin, acknowledgement of Jesus as Lord and Savior, and submission to Christian baptism (immersion).

John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 2:38; Luke 13:3; Acts 10:9-10; Matthew 10:32-33; Romans 6:3-6; Galatians 3:27; 1 Peter 3:21

HEAR the Gospel: Romans 10:17

BELIEVE in Jesus as the Son of God: John 3:16; John 8:24; Acts 16:31

REPENT for your sins: Acts 2:38, 2 Corinthians 7:10; 2 Peter 3:9

CONFESS Jesus as the Son of God: Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9-10

Be BAPTIZED (by full immersion) to receive forgiveness of sins: Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-4

MAKE Disciples: We don't stop after baptism in our pursuit of Jesus. We are to learn more about Him and share Him with others as according to Jesus' Great Commission for the rest of our lives: Matthew 28:18-20

Baptism is the perfect representation of Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection. For us, when we are baptized, we are demonstrating our full commitment and declaring full faith in Jesus Christ. If you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and you have repented of your sins, and have confessed with your mouth He is Lord, then you are ready to be baptized.

Acts 2:37-38; Matthew 16:15-16; 1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9-10; Mark 16:16Acts 8:26-40; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:1-7; 1 Peter 3:21

Communion is a vital part of the Christian faith that should be taken in remembrance and in reverence of God. We partake of this every Sunday morning during our worship service. Communion should also be taken with a heart posture that reflects an understanding of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us.

 Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28; Matthew 26:something

The church began on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2). Our role as the church is to educate believers and evangelize to the lost, calling people to a life-changing relationship in Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19-20; Hebrews 10:24-25; Acts 2:37-42
