Appalachia 2024

Back in July of 2024, fourteen members of Parkview Christian Church went down to Maytown Kentucky in the heart of Floyd County to help the small town recover from the widespread flooding that occurred in 2021. This group helped lay new flooring, connected outside WiFi and cleaned/organized a library space in their community building. Along with helping repair the roof of a local fire station this group also joined the local youth for outdoor games and times of fellowship with those in the area.
